Susie Breitenstein, PhD, RN, FNAP, FAAN, RWJF Nurse Faculty Scholar Alum, professor and senior associate dean for research and innovation at the Ohio State University College of Nursing, received the Family Health RIIG ‐ Distinguished Nurse Scientist Award from the Midwest Nursing Research Society (MNRS). This award is given once every other year to recognize a nurse researcher with an established record of research in family health nursing. Congratulations Dr. Breitenstein!

We applaud Jacquelyn Taylor, PhD, PNP-BC, RN, FAHA, FAAN, RWJF Nurse Faculty Scholar Alum for being named the PI of the five-year R38 Health Equity StARR Program awarded by the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute on February 7th, 2024 for $2.1 million.
