A Brief History of NurseTRUST

- January 2018: At the Alumni Board Meeting, members voted to approve transitioning the RWJ ENF Alumni Association to a 501(c)(3). Thus, the legacy of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Executive Nurse Fellows (ENF) Program is in part NurseTRUST.
- February 13, 2018: NurseTRUST was established and incorporated as a not-for-profit.
- April 20, 2018: IRS Approval of NurseTRUST as non-profit 501(c)(3).

- NurseTRUST’s name reflects the prestigious Gallup poll of being the 'most trusted profession' (now 19 years in a row). Honoring Robert Wood Johnson Foundation belief that nursing, the most trusted profession, is well equipped to influence the future of healthcare.
- Since inception, an agreement with the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), a non-profit, educational institution provided operational and strategic support.
