Congratulations to Nelson Tuazon, DNP, DBA, RN, NEA-BC, CENP, CPPS, CNE, FACHE, FNAP, FAAN, FAMSN, on being accepted as a Fellow of the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses! Nurses who are designated as a Fellow of the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses (FAMSN) have demonstrated leadership in medical-surgical nursing with sustained and notable contributions to the specialty beyond their work environment at a regional, state, national, and even global level.

Recipients of this designation have achieved success in the field of medical-surgical nursing; provided academic accomplishment, mentorship, advocacy, and volunteer service; and demonstrated their commitment to defining, refining, and advancing the specialty (AMSN.org). The induction ceremonies will be held during the AMSN Convention on September 11, 2025 at the Hilton Austin in Austin Texas.
